New mayor appointed for Turtkul

On April 30, a new head was appointed to the Turtkul district in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The press service of the Jokargy Kenes reported the development.
At the 9th extraordinary session of the Turtkul District Council of People's Deputies, the candidacy of Ilhomboy Tilavboevich Khudoyberganov for the position of mayor of the district was considered. Deputies supported his appointment.
For reference, Ilhomboy Khudoyberganov has previously worked in the internal affairs system and also served as the deputy mayor of the Tashkent region.
It should be recalled that Elyorbek Karimov, who formerly served as mayor of the Izboskan district, was recently appointed mayor of Andijan city.
