Four Uzbek boxers advance to World Cup final

Five Uzbek boxers competed on the first day of the semi-finals of the Boxing World Cup, hosted by Brazil. Four of them advanced to the final.
- 60 kg weight category: Madiyar Daniyarov lost to Brazilian Luiz Oliveira 4:1 and won the bronze medal.
- 50 kg weight category: Asilbek Jalilov defeated Indian opponent Janduma Mandengbam 3:2 and advanced to the final.
- 75 kg weight category: Fazliddin Erkinbaev defeated Polish boxer Michal Jarlinski 4:1 and qualified for the final.
- 90 kg weight category: Turabek Habibullaev defeated Indian Vishal with a complete advantage, 5:0, and became a finalist.
- +90 kg weight category: Jahongir Zokirov defeated his Kazakh opponent Daniyal Saparbay with a complete advantage, 5:0, securing a place in the final.
On the night of April 4, three more Uzbek boxers will compete for a spot in the final:
- 55 kg: Mirazizbek Mirzahalilov vs. Jose Felipe (Guatemala) at 03:15
- 80 kg: Javokhir Ummataliev vs. Dias Molzhigitov (Kazakhstan) at 04:00
- 85 kg: Akmaljon Isroilov vs. Jakub Straszewski (Poland) at 04:45.
