5,700 households lost gas service due to an accident in Tashkent

Today, on July 11, a traffic accident in Tashkent left residents of one area without gas, according to “Hududgaz Poytakht”’s gas supply branch.
The accident occurred at 2:15 AM and damaged a medium-pressure gas pipeline in the Gozal neighborhood of Yashnobod district.
As a result, gas supply has been halted in these areas until repairs are made:
- 70 apartments in the Gozal neighborhood;
- 2,436 apartments in 58 high-rise buildings in the Olmos neighborhood;
- 3,200 apartments in 40 high-rise buildings in the Qalqon neighborhood;
- 10 wholesale customers.
"The gas supply will resume once the repairs are finished," the report stated.
Previously, an accident on the "Muzrobot-Dushanbe" main gas pipeline in the Surkhandarya region also disrupted the gas supply to many districts.
