The case of a popular Kazakh blogger who filmed pranks targeting young men in the Tashkent metro has been sent to court, according to the Almaty city police department.

According to the report, the blogger shared videos on social networks showing indecent behavior in public places.

“While in the Uzbekistan metro, citizen A. deliberately engaged in inappropriate physical contact with passengers, recorded the acts on video, and posted them on personal social media pages. An administrative case has been initiated under the article on petty hooliganism, and the materials have been submitted to court,” the police statement said.

According to law enforcement authorities, A. had previously engaged in similar behavior and was given a preventive warning; however, she failed to draw the proper conclusions from that situation.

“Such behavior demonstrates disrespect for public morality and violates established norms of conduct. The police emphasize that any form of indecent, provocative, or degrading actions in public places may result in legal liability,” the statement said.

It should be noted that earlier, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the same blogger staged a stunt by being buried alive and streaming the act live from inside a grave. After the video spread across social networks, many users condemned the blogger’s actions. The Almaty city police responded to the incident, stating that an investigation would be conducted and appropriate measures would be taken in accordance with the law.
