People trapped in multi-story elevator in Tashkent

On April 2, in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, an elevator with people inside became locked in a multi-story building. This was reported by the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department.
It was revealed that at 3:40 AM, the department received a report about the incident at Niyozbek Yuli 6th Lane, Mirzo Ulugbek district. According to the report, the elevator in one of the buildings had malfunctioned, leaving people trapped inside.
Emergency rescuers promptly arrived at the scene and, using specialized tools, opened the elevator and safely rescued the individuals inside.
It’s worth mentioning that similar incidents have occurred before. In one case, children were trapped inside an elevator in a multi-story building in Karshi, Kashkadarya region. Earlier, in Tashkent, an elevator in a high-rise building descended with people trapped inside.
