Nineteen rifles found in citizen’s home in Tashkent

Two citizens in Tashkent voluntarily handed over firearms and ammunition belonging to their late relatives to law enforcement agencies. The State Security Service reported this.
According to the report, a citizen born in 1981 and living in Tashkent’s Yakkasaray district handed over one rifle, 19 hunting firearms, 13 barrels and receiver blocks, 117 rounds of ammunition and other secondary spare parts found in an apartment where his late father had lived separately.
In another case, a woman born in 1960 and living in Mirobod district also handed over two hunting firearms and 181 rounds of ammunition belonging to her late husband.
Earlier, it was reported that individuals illegally storing cartridges, firearms and ammunition had been detained in Paxtakor and Sharof Rashidov districts of Jizzakh region.
