Did a citizen die in a dog attack in Tashkent?  

Social media reports have circulated claiming that an elderly citizen was attacked and killed by a pack of dogs in Tashkent. The capital's administration has responded to the incident.  

According to the administration, the information circulating online is false. The citizen whose video was leaked on social media died on March 3. He was identified as L.U., born in 1966, residing in the 2/4th block of the Karakamysh area in the Almazar district. The cause of death was determined to be acute cardiovascular insufficiency.  

"Contrary to the rumors, there was no dog attack. We urge the city's residents not to panic and to refrain from spreading false information," the report stated.  

It should be recalled that in July 2023, a pack of dogs attacked a five-year-old boy in the Khojaabad district of Andijan region. The child, who was visiting his aunt's house, was attacked while playing in a dump area far from the residential zone.
