Cobalt driver hits 2 people on a scooter in Tashkent (video)

On April 29, a Cobalt driver struck two people riding a scooter in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. This information was reported by a QALAMPIR.UZ source.

According to the source, the driver fled the scene shortly after an ambulance arrived.

“The person who hit them did not report the incident at all. Since the victim is Russian, no one can communicate with him,” the source added.

The Traffic Safety Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent responded to the incident. It was confirmed that at around 05:40 that morning, a traffic accident occurred at the Yangi Sergeli–Kipchok intersection due to a collision between a Cobalt car and a scooter.

As a result of the accident, both the driver and passenger of the scooter received first aid from medical personnel. The Tashkent City Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the case.

It is worth noting that earlier in Angren, a father and his son tragically died after being hit by a drunk driver.
