Earlier reports indicated that a Lacetti driver under the influence of narcotics caused a traffic accident in Tashkent's Chilonzor district. Three individuals in the vehicle have since been sentenced to seven days of administrative detention. The court documents, reviewed by QALAMPIR.UZ, reveal more details about the case.
The defendants—35-year-old G.P., 21-year-old B.R., and 20-year-old D.Q.—met on April 18, 2025, during a gathering at the residence of a person identified as S. After staying overnight, the group decided to visit a pharmacy the next morning due to B.R.'s health issues. They used a vehicle driven by S's acquaintance J.
On April 19, at 07:30, the car was noticed moving without license plates near the intersection of Tikhay and Chorbog Streets in Chilanzar. Traffic patrol officers signaled the vehicle to stop, but the driver ignored the command, continuing at high speed and colliding with other vehicles. The car was eventually stopped, and the occupants resisted law enforcement officers while also verbally abusing nearby citizens.
During the trial at the Chilonzor District Criminal Court, G.P., B.R., and D.Q. expressed remorse and requested leniency, pledging not to repeat such behavior. However, the court found them guilty of minor hooliganism (Article 183) and failure to comply with the lawful demands of law enforcement (Article 194) under the Code of Administrative Liability. Each defendant was fined 375,000 UZS and sentenced to seven days of administrative detention under Article 34 for committing multiple offenses.
According to traffic patrol authorities, the Lacetti driver—identified as S—caused damage to two Damas vehicles and attempted to flee the scene. Upon inspection, unknown substances and items used for narcotics consumption were discovered in the vehicle. Both the driver and passenger J were detained and are being investigated under Article 277, Part 3 ("g" clause) of the Criminal Code for hooliganism.
