Houses adjacent to each other burned down in Tashkent

A fire broke out in several houses in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that today, 1 April at 01:45 a.m., the city’s Emergency Management Department received a report about a fire in neighboring houses in “Pakhtakor” neighborhood of Uchtepa district of Tashkent city.

According to the call, 5 fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene, the fire was surrounded at 02:31 a.m. and extinguished at 02:37a.m.

As a result of the fire, the roof of a kitchen in an apartment located on “Kichik Halka Yoli” street is 15 square meters, the roofs of apartments located on “Uygur Tor” street were 80 square meters, the inner part is 25 and 20 square meters.  Parts (total apartment area 140 square meters) were burned.

The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are being determined.

“There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident,” the statement of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
