Three-car collision in Tashkent leaves one driver injured

Yesterday, May 7, a collision involving Malibu-2, Monza, and Onix cars occurred in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent, the city’s Road Safety Department reported.

The accident happened at 13:30 on Bunyodkor Street when the three vehicles, moving in the same direction, collided. After the collision, the driver of the Onix fled the scene.

An administrative case has been opened against the Onix driver under Articles 134 (traffic violations causing property damage) and 137 (leaving the scene of an accident) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The vehicles were towed to a penalty area for temporary storage.

The Tashkent City Police Department is investigating the incident. The Malibu-2 driver received first aid at the scene.

Earlier, on May 1, a Lacetti car hit a 12-year-old pedestrian in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent.
