Shavkat Mirziyoyev honors a group of medical workers

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree awarding a group of healthcare professionals in recognition of Medical Workers’ Day, the presidential press service reported.

According to the decree, the awardees were recognized for their many years of dedicated service in advancing the country’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, improving the quality of medical services, and successfully implementing large-scale reforms. They were also honored for their professional expertise in applying modern high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods, protecting public health, promoting healthy lifestyles, training highly qualified medical personnel, and actively contributing to social development.
