The Samarkand–Tel Aviv flight 9S 501/502, scheduled for June 15, has been canceled due to the temporary closure of Ben Gurion Airport and surrounding airspace in Tel Aviv, Israel. The announcement was made by the press service of Air Samarkand.

The airline stated that further updates will be provided regarding flights to Israel on other dates. Passengers affected by the cancellation will be notified in advance via email, as well as at ticket purchase locations such as ticket offices and travel agencies.

Customers who purchased tickets for the canceled Samarkand–Tel Aviv flight are eligible for a full refund or may reschedule their flight for a later date.

It is worth noting that several other flights from Tashkent were recently canceled due to the closure of Iranian airspace. These included Flydubai’s Dubai–Tashkent–Dubai flight FZ-1945/1946, Air Arabia’s Sharjah–Tashkent–Sharjah flight G9-270/271, and Asia Union’s Tashkent–Medina–Tashkent flight 7Q-141/142.
