Is it true that a camera was installed in a school toilet in Samarkand? An explanation has been given

There were reports on social networks that a camera was installed in the toilet of a school in Samarkand region.  The Department of Preschool and School Education of the Samarkand region reacted to the situation.

According to them, this appeal was thoroughly studied by the officials of the department of pre-school and school education of Samarkand district.

During the studies, it was found that the deputy director of the school for spiritual and educational affairs, R.Sh, installed an unusable camera in the toilet to call them to order due to the lack of cleanliness in the boys’ toilet.

This camera is unusable, not connected to the network, the equipment was removed after studies.

The working group conducted explanatory work with the school administration.  According to Article 181 of the Labor Code, a disciplinary punishment was applied to the deputy director of spiritual and educational affairs R.Sh for allowing such a situation in the school.

It should be recalled that it was discovered that a surveillance camera had been installed in one of the rooms of the students’ (girls’) dormitory of the Kokan Pedagogical Institute.  It was said that the internal affairs department of Fergana region is conducting an investigation into the situation.  After that, the vice-rector of the institute was fired.
