In the Bulungur district of the Samarkand region, the former head of an enterprise colluded with the manager and cashier of a warehouse to sell 821 tons of cherries and embezzle the money. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the former head of JV "S.G." LLC, N.K., conspired with the company's warehouse manager and cashier, A.A., to sell 820.8 tons of cherry products for cash and embezzled a total of 11.7 billion soums. This investigation was conducted by the Bulungur District Department of the Economic Crimes Department based on a request from the founder of JV "S.G." LLC.
As a result, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or robbery using fraud), and an investigation is currently underway.
We also remind you that earlier, individuals who embezzled 6.3 billion soums in auto loans issued in the name of 19 citizens were caught.
