With the assistance of diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, four minors who were left without parental care in St. Petersburg, Russia, have been safely returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by Dunyo.
According to the report, the children traveled to Russia with their parents. However, due to violations of residency rules in Russia, the parents were placed in a temporary detention center for deportation, leaving the four minors in the care of close acquaintances.
"Uzbek diplomats promptly located the address of our minor compatriots and provided practical assistance for their return to their homeland," the report stated.
It is worth noting that on February 11, three other Uzbek minors who were left behind in Russia following the deportation of their relatives were also brought back to Uzbekistan. One of these children traveled to Russia as a labor migrant with his mother, another with his grandmother based on a power of attorney from his parents, and the third accompanied his sisters with a similar power of attorney arrangement.
