New season of “Initiative Budget” to launch on July 15

The second season of the 2025 "Initiative Budget" process will officially begin on July 15 and run through August 31. This was announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The process will be carried out in the following stages:

• Project submission stage: July 15 – August 3
• Selection stage: August 4 – 18
• Promotion stage: August 19 – 21
• Voting stage: August 22 – 31

The winners of the second season will be announced on September 1**, coinciding with Independence Day.

For reference, since March 2024, a "one citizen – one vote" system has been introduced to ensure fair and transparent competition during the voting phase of the initiative budgeting process. In collaboration with the Digital Government Project Management Center, a system has been implemented to verify the identity of each participant and ensure that only one vote is accepted per citizen.
