First Aral Culture Summit aims to foster global cooperation and awareness

3390On April 5, the first Aral Culture Summit, planned to be held once every 18 months, began its work in Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan. Presidential Assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva shared the news on her Telegram channel.
“This is a highly significant event for our country, especially Karakalpakstan,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
She noted that for many years, at various events and platforms, the development of the Aral Sea region has been emphasized as a global task that requires joint efforts.
“It is essential to draw attention to this region to preserve its unique culture and identity and ensure a decent future for our compatriots living in these challenging conditions,” she added.
Furthermore, Mirziyoyeva mentioned that the summit unites artists, scientists, experts, and activists worldwide.
It is worth noting that Saida Mirziyoyeva also participated in the Samarkand Climate Forum, which began its work on April 4. During her participation, she stressed that the development of the Aral Sea region and Karakalpakstan remains a priority.
