Robert Fico officially welcomed at Kuksaroy

On June 9, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence for the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan. The ceremony was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

An honor guard lined up in front of the residence. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Slovakia were performed by a military orchestra. The two leaders walked past the honor guard and greeted the members of their official delegations.

After a joint photograph was taken, high-level negotiations began.

It should be recalled that Robert Fico arrived in Uzbekistan on the evening of June 8. He was welcomed at Tashkent International Airport by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other senior officials. Earlier today, June 9, Fico laid flowers at the foot of the Independence Monument in the "New Uzbekistan" park. The Slovak delegation, led by the Prime Minister, was given detailed information about the architectural design and symbolic elements of the complex. He was accompanied by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev.

Robert Fico is also scheduled to participate in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum during his visit.
