The state grant for women was distributed across regions

In the academic year 2023-2024, the regional distribution of quotas based on additional 2000 state grants for women was approved. This was reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
It is noted that in the current academic year, the largest quota for women was allocated to Samarkand region (227).
The distribution of quotas in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions is as follows:
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 111;
- Andijan region – 183;
- Bukhara region – 112;
- Jizzakh region – 81;
- Kashkadarya region – 193;
- Navoi region – 60;
- Namangan region – 165;
- Surkhandarya region – 155;
- Syrdarya region – 50;
- Tashkent region – 177;
- Fergana region – 221;
- Khorezm region – 110;
- Tashkent city – 155.
