New ambassador of Uzbekistan to Israel is appointed

Jahangir Davlatovich Aminov has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Israel. The decision was made by the Council of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Today, on October 5th, Israel's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Zehavit Ben-Gilel, extended her best wishes to Aminov on his new appointment.
"We wish Jahangir Aminov the best of luck as he embarks on his mission to Israel as the new Ambassador of Uzbekistan. There is no doubt that his experience will greatly contribute to the development and expansion of the continually growing relations between Israel and Uzbekistan," the Ambassador stated.
For your information, Jahangir Aminov previously served as the head of the Department of Foreign Investments and the Department of Attracting Financial and Technical Assistance at the General Directorate of Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. He also held the position of head of the Department of Cooperation with CIS countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
