Bobur Abdullaev appointed rector of Inha University in Tashkent

Bobur Sadullaevich Abdullaev has been appointed as the new rector of Inha University in Tashkent by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Digital Technologies announced.  

Before this appointment, Abdullaev served as the acting director of the Amity University board in Tashkent from December 16, 2019, until now.  

The new rector is a graduate of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies and the Institute of the Center for Training Civil Servants of the Republic of Korea. Over the years, he has held various key positions at "Uzbektelecom", the Ministry of ICT, and the single integrator UZINFOCOM.  

In a separate development, former presidential candidate Narzullo Naimovich Oblomurodov was previously appointed as the rector of the Agrarian University. Oblomurodov, who ran for President of Uzbekistan in the 2021 elections as the Ecological Party's candidate, received 4.1 percent of the vote on October 24, 2021.
