In early December 2025, reports circulated on social media claiming that funds were withdrawn without users’ consent from bank cards linked to the Humans app. The Central Bank has provided information regarding the situation involving Humans LLC.
According to the statement, an inspection was conducted at Octagram JSC, the payment organization that provided payment services to Humans LLC. A working group was established based on a relevant directive of the Central Bank to carry out the review.
The findings of the inspection were formalized in a report and, in accordance with established procedures, submitted to the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs for legal assessment and action within its authority.
At present, the case involving Humans is being reviewed by the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs in line with current legislation.
“Citizens are requested to submit complaints regarding this incident to law enforcement authorities,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that on October 14, 2025, the Tashkent Interdistrict Economic Court declared Humans bankrupt at the request of Octobank and initiated liquidation proceedings without suspending the company’s operations.
Humans later commented on the situation, stating that the funds were withdrawn by fraudsters between December 4 and 8. The company said it was not at fault and claimed the issue stemmed from a technical error in the Paylov service. Paylov, however, rejected this explanation, asserting that the fraudulent transactions were carried out by Humans itself.
