Seven people rescued from burning apartment in Fergana

Seven people were rescued from a fire in a multi-storey apartment in Fergana, according to the regional Emergency Situations Department.
The fire occurred on February 1, when the Emergency Situations Department received a report at 06:59 about a blaze in an apartment at 39v-S. Temur Street in the "Navoi" neighborhood area of Fergana city. Three fire rescue crews arrived at the scene at 07:02, extinguishing the flames by 07:03 and fully containing the fire by 07:05.
The report states that seven people, trapped in the non-breathing zone in neighboring apartments on the upper floors, were evacuated by firefighters to a safe area. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities.
Earlier, a fire also broke out in an apartment building in the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent City. Fortunately, there were no casualties in that incident either.
