Driving school employee arrested in Ferghana for promising licenses

A driving school employee has been detained for promising a driver’s license without attending training sessions in Kuvasoy, Ferghana region, the Department for combating economic crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

According to the report, during an operation carried out jointly by the Kuvasoy city branch of the department and local police officers, G.U., an employee of the ’’Kh.A.’’ driving school, was caught red-handed. He had fraudulently taken $1,500 from citizen J.M. in exchange for arranging category ’’B’’ and ’’C’’ driver’s licenses without the applicant’s participation in mandatory training classes.

It was stated that a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 25 and 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud), and investigative proceedings are underway.

It is worth noting that earlier, the deputy chairman of the regional council of the ’’Vatanparvar’’ organization was caught red-handed in his office while receiving 20 million soums in exchange for arranging a driver’s license without an exam in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region.
