Uzhydromet issues urgent weather warning

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for Saturday, May 25.

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy and changeable. While no precipitation is expected during the day, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in the evening. Winds from the east will blow at 3–8 m/s, increasing to 10–12 m/s at times. Dust and debris may be observed in some areas. Temperatures will range from 15–17°C at night to 32–34°C during the day.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will also be changeable but dry. Eastern winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13–18 m/s, with possible dust in some places. Nighttime temperatures will be 15–20°C, and daytime temperatures will reach 30–35°C.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, partly cloudy skies are expected with the possibility of short-term rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Eastern winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13–18 m/s with dust observed in some places. Temperatures will be 17–22°C at night and 30–35°C during the day.

In the Tashkent region, the weather will be similar—partly cloudy and occasionally changeable. Rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas during the evening. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s, with dust expected in some areas. Temperatures will range from 15–20°C at night to 30–35°C during the day.

In the Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the forecast is mostly dry and partly cloudy, with winds from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas. Dust may also be observed. Night temperatures will be 15–20°C and daytime temperatures 30–35°C.

The Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions will see partly cloudy skies with no rain expected. Winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, occasionally reaching 13–18 m/s, with some areas experiencing dust. Temperatures will be warmer—18–23°C at night and 33–38°C during the day.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be partly cloudy and dry. Winds will blow at 5–10 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas. Nighttime temperatures will be 17–22°C, while daytime highs will be 30–35°C.

In the mountainous and foothill areas of Uzbekistan, partly cloudy skies are expected, with short-term rain and thunderstorms possible. Flash floods may occur. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s. Temperatures will be cooler—10–15°C at night and 20–25°C during the day.
