School principal jailed for five days for sending sexually explicit messages to pupil

In the Yukorichirchiq district of the Tashkent region, a 39-year-old school principal who sent sexually explicit messages to a minor student via Telegram has been sentenced to five days of administrative detention. QALAMPIR.UZ reviewed the court documents.

According to the case materials, J.I., born in 1987, sent sexually explicit SMS messages to the underage student via Telegram on April 16 and 17 this year.

The case was heard on April 22 at the Yukorichirchiq District Criminal Court. During the hearing, the principal admitted guilt but claimed that the messages had been sent “for educational purposes” and asked the court for leniency. The girl’s mother argued that the principal was unfit for his position and requested a harsher punishment.

The court found J.I. guilty under Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (sexual harassment). He was sentenced to five days of administrative detention.

Earlier, it was reported that in the city of Chirchiq in the Tashkent region, a man who harassed a minor girl on a bus had been sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention.
