Another gas explosion in Bukhara claims a life

A gas explosion occurred in a house in the Gijduvan district of the Bukhara region, resulting in one fatality. This information was confirmed by the regional Emergency Situations Department in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.  

According to the report, the incident happened on February 5 at 18:20 in the "Armechan" residential complex. An air-gas mixture had accumulated in a room due to a gas leak from a heating stove installed in the house. The explosion occurred when the homeowners turned on the light, triggering the air-gas mixture.  

Tragically, a disabled person of the II group, identified as I.T., was injured and died at the scene. No fire occurred as a result of the explosion, and fire and rescue crews were not deployed. Officials from the regional MES, the district Internal Affairs Department, and members of the TTG of the IAD were present at the scene.  

It is worth noting that a similar gas leak incident occurred earlier in the same district. Although no fire, injuries, or deaths were reported, responsible officials and two fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the location.
