Another 4-magnitude earthquake hits Bukhara region

A 4-magnitude earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan today, May 22, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring reported.
According to the center, the earthquake was recorded at 1:32 a.m. It had a magnitude of 4 and a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was in Jondor district, located 519 kilometers southwest of Tashkent. Its coordinates were 40.28 degrees north latitude and 63.19 degrees east longitude.
The earthquake was felt in Uzbekistan as follows:
- In Gazli, the tremor was felt at 3 points, 28 kilometers from the epicenter;
- In Peshku district, it was felt at 2-3 points, 38 kilometers from the epicenter;
- In Karakul district, it was felt at 2 points, 56 kilometers from the epicenter;
- In Jondor district, it was felt at 2 points, 57 kilometers from the epicenter.
Earlier, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Uzbekistan on May 21.
