New deputy governor of Bukhara region was appointed

Bakhtiyor Odilov has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Bukhara Region for Youth Policy, Social Development, and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, according to the regional government’s press service.
Previously, Odilov served as the Head of the Main Department of Economics and Finance in the Bukhara Region.
His appointment follows the resignation of Hamroyev Mirali Muhammadjonovich, who stepped down from the role at his own request.
For context, Bakhtiyor Odilov was born on June 22, 1986, in Bukhara. He holds a degree in economics from Bukhara State University, where he graduated in 2008.
This announcement coincides with today’s appointments of new mayors for the Peshku, Vobkent, and Qarovulbazar districts, as well as the city of Kogon in the Bukhara Region.
