Numon Muhammadiev appointed Deputy Minister of Justice

4709By presidential decree, Numon Usmonovich Muhammadiev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice, the ministry’s press service reported.
Born in 1982 in the Kitab district of the Kashkadarya region, Muhammadiev holds a higher education degree in law and is a first-degree justice advisor. He graduated from the Tashkent State Law Institute in 2003. In 2024, he was awarded the "For Faithful Service" medal.
Muhammadiev began his career in 2004 as a senior advisor in the Ministry of Justice’s Department for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights. He later held leadership positions within the same department. From 2009 to 2013, he served as First Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Justice Department.
Between 2016 and 2023, he held various positions in the Ministry of Justice, including Head of the Department for Coordination and Development of Public Services, Head of the Department for Control over the Execution of Presidential Documents, and First Deputy Director of the State Services Agency.
Prior to his new appointment, he had served as Head of the Tashkent City Department of Justice since 2023.
It should be noted that earlier reports confirmed the resignation of Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Justice, Khudoyor Meliev. The reasons for his dismissal remain undisclosed.
