On the night of December 15, a professional boxing event took place in Monaco, where Uzbek boxer Murodjon Akhmadaliev stepped into the ring and delivered a spectacular knockout victory.
Competing for the WBA Interim belt, 30-year-old Akhmadaliev faced off against Mexican fighter Ricardo Espinosa Franco. The bout, scheduled for 12 rounds, ended in the third round when the Uzbek boxer delivered a decisive knockout blow to his opponent.
Akhmadaliev secured his 13th win in the professional boxing ring with this victory. Next on his agenda is a mandatory fight with Japan’s Naoya Inoue, the undisputed champion of the weight class. According to a WBA directive, both sides must agree to a fight in 2025.
