Uzbekistan U-20 national team players Sadriddin Hasanov and Sayfiddin Sodiqov have become players of Portugal’s Braga. The club’s press service reported this.

For reference, both footballers are 18 years old and played for Uzbekistan’s youth national team that won the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Hasanov was named the best player of the tournament and scored one of the goals in the final against Saudi Arabia, which ended 2-0.

Both players also made their debut in the Uzbekistan Super League this season. Sodiqov played three matches for Andijan, while Hasanov appeared in six matches for Tashkent’s Bunyodkor.

Braga, officially Sporting Clube de Braga, is one of the most popular and strongest professional football clubs in Portugal, based in the northern city of Braga. The club competes in Portugal’s top division, the Primeira Liga, and is recognized as the “fourth giant” after the “big three” — Benfica, Porto and Sporting. Braga is well known in Europe for discovering young talents and for its strong scouting system.
