A public brawl involving artists and bloggers at the LikeCup tournament, held at the "Jar" stadium in Tashkent, has resulted in legal consequences. The Shayhontohur District Criminal Court held a mobile court session to address the incident and issued corresponding decisions.
According to court findings, the blogger who initiated the fight claimed that the altercation was staged with the consent of both teams, intending to attract more followers on social media. He said he had just started blogging and hoped the staged conflict would help him grow his subscriber base.
The Shayhontohur District Department of Internal Affairs, under the Federal Migration Service, investigated the case and conducted preventive interrogations with the participants of the tournament.
As a result of the mobile court hearing, several individuals were found guilty of administrative offenses. Tournament organizer and actor Alisher Uzoqov, comedian Abdurakhmon Mavlonov, and bloggers Mirjalol Rahmonaliyev and Dilshodbek Orozboyev were charged under Article 183 (petty hooliganism) and Part 1 of Article 194 (failure to comply with the lawful demands of an internal affairs officer) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Each was fined 10 times the basic calculation amount—3 million 750 thousand soums.
Ozodbek Orozboyev, who played a central role in provoking the incident, was also charged under the same articles and sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention.
Another participant, Kamoliddin Mamajonov, was found guilty under Article 183 and Part 2 of Article 194 and was fined 12 times the basic amount—4 million 500 thousand soums.
As previously reported, the incident sparked public outrage and led to the temporary suspension of the LikeCup project.
