Accountant attempting to sell land in reserve of government was apprehended

In the Surkhandarya region, an accountant attempting to illegally sell a plot of land within the reserve of the Sariosia District Administration has been apprehended. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
It was noted that the accountant of the "M.Y." farm, Q.S., along with citizen B.Kh., allegedly conspired to fraudulently sell the land for USD 5,600. The suspects were apprehended with physical evidence while receiving USD 3,600 and 1.2 million soums.
"A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are currently underway," the report stated.
It is worth recalling that earlier, an individual attempting to sell 3.5 hectares of land in the administration's reserve for USD 1.5 million was also apprehended.
