President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, the presidential press service reported.
According to the report, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to President Ferdinand Marcos over the deaths and injuries caused by a powerful earthquake off the southern coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines.
The head of state expressed sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Earlier, it was reported that 32 people had been killed and 134 others injured in the earthquake that struck near the coast of the Philippines on June 8.
The worst-affected area was General Santos, a city with a population of about 700,000.
