Earlier, it was reported that a major fire had broken out at the “Beshqorgon” market located in Tashkent’s Chilanzar district. Following the incident, the market was temporarily closed. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, after the fire at the “Beshqorgon” market, a nearby gas station and shopping complex were inspected by the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations in accordance with established procedures. During the inspection, officials found that a building located close to the fuel storage tanks at the gas station was being used as a warehouse, that the automatic fire extinguishing system in the shopping complex was out of order, and that several other fire safety rules had been grossly violated. Operations at the facilities were temporarily suspended until all deficiencies are fully eliminated.

“Dear entrepreneurs, please comply with fire safety regulations. Follow the recommendations given by specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Failure to observe safety rules may lead to major tragedies,” the statement said.

It is worth noting that 3,000 square meters of the complex and material assets, as well as the nearby gas station and a five-story parking facility adjacent to it, were saved from the fire. No one was injured in the incident.
