Ziroat Mirziyoyeva plants trees in Khiva

On April 27, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Zamin Foundation, paid a visit to the Khorezm region. This was reported on her official Telegram channel.

According to the report, during the visit Ziroat Mirziyoyeva toured the training bakery at Specialized Boarding School No. 96 for children with hearing impairments in the city of Urgench. She spoke with the students and took part in the bread-baking process.

The First Lady also met with children at the Inclusive Center for the Development of Children’s Creativity and Talents under the National Agency for Social Protection. During the meeting, one of the students presented her with a handmade piece of jewelry.

In addition, the First Lady, together with environmental activists, took part in a tree-planting campaign at the Arda Khiva tourism complex, where more than 3,000 trees and other plants were planted.
