26564Lutfulla Umarov, known as "Ziki Eskishahar," one of the representatives of the criminal world, who was arrested during the "Dolzarb 40 kunlik" events that started in November of last year, was sentenced. This was reported by the QALAMPIR.UZ source.
According to the source, Article 273 of the Umarov Criminal Code (Illegal preparation, acquisition, storage, and other actions to transfer narcotic drugs, their analogs, or psychotropic substances, as well as their illegal transfer) 2 - was accused of committing the crime referred to in part.
It was found that at the end of May 2023, the defendant found 12 poppy ears on the edge of a cliff in the city of Tashkent and gave them to an acquaintance to keep for future use.
On December 7, during a search of an acquaintance's apartment by law enforcement officers, a "poppy ear" containing opium alkaloids (codeine, thebaine) with a total weight of 9.64 grams was found. Narcotic drugs were registered as physical evidence.
According to the court verdict, Lutfulla Umarov was found guilty under clause 2 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was sentenced to 6 years and 2 months in prison. It is determined that the punishment will be served in the colonies of general order.
