A video showing a deceased man in a field has circulated on social media. The information service of the Jizzakh regional DIA responded to the incident.
We would like to inform you that the images depict A.P., a resident of the Qorabdolota neighborhood, Farish district, Jizzakh region. He was the neighbor of S.R. and died from injuries inflicted by a stone. A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As a reminder, in April, the body of a 38-year-old man who had gone missing from the "Dahana" neighborhood in Denov district, Surkhandarya region, was discovered in a barn ten days later.
