Ambulance hits a pedestrian in Jizzakh

An ambulance struck a pedestrian crossing the street in Jizzakh, according to the regional Traffic Safety Department.
The accident occurred on May 23 at around 8:30 am on Sharof Rashidov Street. A woman born in 1976 was hit by an ambulance that was speeding in the outermost lane as she crossed at a designated crosswalk.
The woman sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital's intensive care unit.
Previously, in the Narpay district of the Samarkand region, a 70-year-old man driving under the influence struck a second-grade student.
