Individuals found in possession of pneumatic weapons and narcotics detained in Jizzakh

Several individuals were detained in the Jizzakh region as part of the "Safe and Healthy Country" month-long campaign, according to the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

In one incident, a search was conducted at the home of 20-year-old D.A., a resident of the Mevazor neighborhood. Authorities discovered and seized 52 grams of dried plant material with a pungent odor, wrapped in two plastic bags, as evidence.

In a separate case, the secret location of a wanted person was uncovered. A 43-year-old man, born in Bakhmal district and charged with fraud by the Dustlik District Criminal Court, had been wanted since February 2 of this year. He was successfully detained.

Elsewhere, in the Gafur Ghulom neighborhood of the Dustlik district, a Lacetti vehicle driven by 22-year-old M.N. was stopped. Upon inspection, law enforcement found three boxes containing a total of 150 potent pharmaceutical drugs. Additionally, 21-year-old X.X., a resident of the Mirzo Bobur neighborhood in Arnasay district, was apprehended while attempting to sell narcotics for 1.8 million soums.

During the same operation, authorities discovered 24 cannabis buds and dried narcotic substances at the home of 41-year-old E.M., a resident of the "Uratepalik" mahalla. They also confiscated a pneumatic pistol from 25-year-old I.Yu., who resides in the "Turon" mahalla, and documented the storage of 190 liters of fuel products at the residence of B.U., located in the "Alisher Navoi" mahalla.

Moreover, when detaining the previously mentioned wanted individual, officers found digital materials related to the distribution of religious content on his phone.

These incidents are currently under investigation by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It should be noted that earlier this year, during the large-scale "Oriyat" operation held on February 8–9, law enforcement officials detained individuals involved in organizing a drug den and selling narcotics at a nightclub.
