In Jizzakh, a poacher hit a Department employee in his car

A person fishing illegally in the Jizzakh region injured the head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office, who identified him.  This person drove a vehicle over a civil servant and injured him.  This was reported by the press service of the Department.

It was reported that the department for combating economic offenses in the field of Aydar-Arnasoy lake system resource use in cooperation with the employees of the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system department of the Ministry of Natural Resources organized a quick action at night, along the “Arnasoy” channel.  It revealed that K.S., a resident of Arnasoy district, and others were fishing illegally using electric fishing rods.

According to reports, K.S. did not follow the legal requirements of the employees on duty and actively resisted them.  In order to destroy his illegally caught fish and other physical evidence, he drove his Nexia 3 vehicle over the Head of the Department P.O.  

In connection with this situation, the Forish district prosecutor’s office has opened a criminal case under Article 219 of the Criminal Code (resisting a representative of the authorities or a person performing his civic duty), and investigations are underway.
