New prosecutor appointed in Jizzakh

Akbar Sakiyev was appointed prosecutor of Jizzakh city on June 10, the regional administration’s press service reported.

According to the report, a meeting dedicated to important organizational issues in the regional prosecutor’s office system was held at the meeting hall of the Jizzakh city administration. During the meeting, chaired by Jizzakh regional prosecutor Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov, Muzaffar Mamatovich Mamatov, who had been serving as Jizzakh city prosecutor, was appointed deputy prosecutor of Jizzakh region in recognition of his strong performance and professional competence.

Akbar Hosilbekovich Sakiyev, who had previously served effectively as prosecutor of Mirzachul district, was appointed prosecutor of Jizzakh city.

At the end of the meeting, the newly appointed officials were wished great success in their future work, sincere fulfillment of their responsible duties and continued contribution to the country’s development and the rule of law.

Earlier, Otabek Akbarovich Kholboyev was relieved of his post as Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan and Military Prosecutor of Uzbekistan, and Qahramon Isroilov was appointed in his place.
