Uzbek chess grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov has officially signed with the world-renowned esports organization "Vitality," according to UzChess.
Reports indicate that Vitality, known for its success in esports competitions, has added Sindarov to its roster for upcoming chess tournaments. The team also features French chess player Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
In addition to its expansion into chess, Vitality has dominated the Counter-Strike scene, winning the last five consecutive tournaments.
Previously, another Uzbek chess star, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, signed with NAVI ("Natus Vincere"), a leading esports team.
