Deputy prosecutor and deputy district governor were apprehended for accepting bribes

During a swift operation led by the State Security Service's Fergana regional department, the deputy prosecutor of the Qoshtepa district was apprehended with tangible evidence after accepting $2000 from the head of a preschool education institution leveraging his official status.
A criminal case was initiated by the district prosecutor's office under Article 210 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. The indictment was filed against the head of the preschool education institution, who, through judicial contacts, demanded $3000 to thwart deprivation measures, and received $1000 upfront.
In April of this year, the head of an agricultural company in Chortoq district, Namangan region, in collusion with the deputy district governor for agriculture, agreed to return 10 hectares of farmland to the state reserve and approve the farm's unmet grain planting plan in exchange for $2500.
In a swift operation conducted by the State Security Service in collaboration with the Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, the leader of the agricultural company was apprehended while accepting $1000 and 5 million soums as requested funds. Furthermore, during the ongoing operation, the deputy mayor of the Chortoq district was apprehended with incriminating evidence. He directed the head of the agricultural firm to retain $100 from the requested amount and return the remainder. Notably, the head of the agricultural company had previously accepted 3 million soums to resolve the farmer's issue.
In an urgent operation carried out by the Tashkent Region Department staff in conjunction with the General Prosecutor's Office, the deputy head of Angren City's electricity supply company, acting on verbal instructions from his superior, illegally connected a transformer belonging to a trading LLC to the power grid. He was apprehended with tangible evidence while accepting a bribe. Additionally, the head of the electricity supply company in Angren city was detained according to procedural protocol.
During a swift operation conducted by the Tashkent City Department of the Safety Service of the State, the head of the Yangihayot district branch of the State Cadastre Chamber was caught receiving a $25,000 bribe in his office. This bribe was in exchange for facilitating the preparation of cadastral documents for a house constructed on 20 hectares of land within the district.
Criminal cases have been initiated against these officials.
