Uzbekistan national team goalkeeper Utkir Yusupov has been included in the symbolic team for the 6th round of the 3rd stage of the World Cup qualification. This recognition was announced by "Sofascore".
The symbolic team features three players from Japan, two players each from Indonesia and the UAE, and one player each from South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan.
Notably, Kyrgyz footballer Joel Kojo, who competes in the Uzbekistan Championship, and Fabio de Lima, a UAE representative who once received Uzbekistan citizenship, are also part of the team. De Lima’s exceptional performance against Qatar, where he scored four goals ("poker"), earned him the highest rating of 10 points.
Utkir Yusupov previously shared his thoughts following Uzbekistan's match against the DPRK. He noted that the team had thoroughly prepared their tactics before the game and committed to giving their best effort on the field.
