The Ministry of Energy has refuted any connection between the boiler house and the floods in Yunusobod. Previously, flooding was reported in the 6th and 7th districts of Yunusobod in Tashkent. "Water Supply" JSC of Tashkent initially attributed the incident to a power outage at boiler room No. 4 of "Tashkent Heat Center" LLC near the affected area. However, the Ministry of Energy has denied this claim.

According to "Tashkent Heat Center" LLC, a subsidiary of "Heat Power Stations" JSC, the statement by "Water Supply" JSC of Tashkent is false. They assert that there was no interruption in the electricity supply at boiler room No. 4 on July 2-3, 2024.

"The flooding is unrelated to the operations of the boiler house. Boiler room No. 4 functioned normally during the night from July 2 to July 3, 2024," stated the rebuttal.

Additionally, due to insufficient water supply to the boiler house, production volume has been reduced based on available capacities.

It was previously announced that public transport would be temporarily restricted in some areas due to the flooding in Tashkent.
