Victory over North Korea shows Uzbekistan’s strength and character - Ismoilov

 Uzbekistan’s U-17 national football team head coach, Islam Ismoilov, commended his players for demonstrating remarkable character during their victory against North Korea. He highlighted North Korea as the tournament's most physically formidable team.

“First of all, I congratulate everyone on this victory. It was a tough game for us. The boys showed character. Our opponent is the best team in the tournament in terms of physical strength. By countering their approach with our attacking play, we secured the win. Everything we planned was achieved. Now we are just one step away. God willing, we will become champions and return to Uzbekistan,” Ismoilov shared.

Uzbekistan’s U-17 team defeated North Korea 3-0 in the semi-final of the ongoing Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia, securing their spot in the final. The final match will be played against the host team, Saudi Arabia's U-17 squad, on April 20 at 20:00.a
