David O'Sullivan, the special representative of the European Union on sanctions, will be in Tashkent on November 29-30, as reported by the press service of the EU delegation in Uzbekistan.

"David O'Sullivan will visit Tashkent to continue a constructive dialogue with the Uzbek government on EU sanctions in response to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine," stated the official message.

Before arriving in Tashkent, O'Sullivan is scheduled to visit Kazakhstan on November 28, where he will meet with the country's officials.

For context, O'Sullivan previously visited Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan in April of this year. During his visit to Tashkent, he held discussions with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In a press conference held in the capital, O'Sullivan emphasized that Uzbekistan should not assist Russia in circumventing sanctions and should collaborate with the EU in this regard.

Earlier, the Bureau of Industry and Security of the US Department of Commerce included Mvizion LLC in Uzbekistan, along with 12 Russian companies, in a list subject to sanctions.

According to some reports, the EU is also planning to include "Mvizion" LLC, suspected of aiding Moscow in evading sanctions, in the 12th package of sanctions against Russia.
